Eugene R. Bloch

Vice President and Program Manager

Gene Bloch is Vice President and Program Manager at JDA Aviation Technology Solutions, where he provides management leadership for overall company operations, business development and project management initiatives. He works extensively with airline senior executives, airport authority executives, Architecture and Engineering firms, property developers and FAA.

Mr. Bloch is Program Manager for JDA's full range of activities as a FAA-recognized Part 121 Qualified Certification Consultant. He is also the Program Manager for JDA's suite of Part 77 / TERPS Obstruction Evaluation services.

Mr. Bloch was Project Manager of the JDA engineering teams that provided Part 121 certification and/or ATOS-related services to Southwest Airlines, Piedmont Airlines, Republic Airlines, and Frontier Airlines Holdings / Lynx Aviation. He has developed and managed the delivery of an intensive FAR Part 139 airport operations training program for The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and Lehigh Valley International Airport. Mr. Bloch also introduced a new video surveillance product to the U.S. airport community, including Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, Miami International Airport, Capital City Airport, Jackson Hole Airport and Memphis International Airport.

Prior to joining JDA in 2002, Mr. Bloch was Vice President of Program Management at Advanced Switching Communications Inc., and Vice President of Systems Engineering at Newbridge Networks Inc.

Mr. Bloch holds a Master's of Engineering degree from Lehigh University, as well as a B.S. in Communications from Temple University. He holds Certified Member accreditation with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), and is currently completing his case study as part of the Aviation Safety and Security certificate program at The George Washington University.
