Vice President of Quality Assurance and Engineering
Sharon Grey is the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Engineering for JDA Aviation Technology Solutions. She has over 20 years aviation experience working in Part 91, 121, 135 and 145 operations. She has an extensive background in aviation Quality and Compliance Systems, Safety Management Systems (SMS), Proactive Risk Management, Regulatory Oversight and Policy and Procedures Manual Development. Sharon held Director Positions at a major air carrier in Technical Operations responsible for Quality Assurance, Inspection, Regulatory Compliance (Airworthiness and Flight Operations), Aircraft Records, Technical Publications, Engineering Services, Aircraft Maintenance Programs and Component Configuration. Additionally, she developed and managed Internal Evaluation programs for Flight, Maintenance, Inflight and Ground operations.
Sharon is a formally trained professional auditor with extensive auditing experience in corporate, charter, air carrier, both flag and supplemental, repair station, SMS, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Transportation Oversight System (ATOS). She holds an ISO-9001 Auditor Certificate. Her diverse aviation experience includes managing and conducting operational assessments and safety performance evaluations for general and commercial aviation. She has a wealth of knowledge to provide clients with insight to achieve bench marking procedures. One of her many strengths includes providing detailed attention to management and front line employees to build a strong technical and operational infrastructure to achieve a client's goals.
Sharon is an Accredited IS-BAO (International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations) Auditor through the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC). She provides IS-BAO audits and implementations for operators desiring IS-BAO registration. Her IS-BAO credentials include expertise in SMS program development, establishing self audits, operations manual development and auditing corporate flight operations, fixed base operations (FBO) and maintenance organizations.
Sharon holds a FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
