JDA Acquires Obstruction Evaluation Business

Names Ben Doyle to Head New Business Segment

Washington, DC - JDA Aviation Technology Solutions (JDA), a leading provider of aviation safety, operations and technical services, announced today its acquisition of the Obstruction Evaluation (OE) assets of Aviation Management Associates (AMA) and the hiring Benjamin Doyle as Vice President of Airspace Analysis and Obstruction Evaluation.

Doyle will be responsible for leading JDA's airspace, Terminal Instrument Procedures (TERPS), and OE business. During his 15-year career, Doyle has provided technical analysis and airspace obstruction mitigation services on more than 250 airspace projects for development firms in the building, wind turbine, cellular/broadcast and power industries. He has worked with the FAA, airports, and local zoning organizations to successfully resolve airspace cases in cities across the country.

JDA acquired the rights to AMA's technology, contracts and expertise. AMA had been recognized as one of the leaders in the OE service area and acquisition of the OE business demonstrated JDA's continued momentum as one of the industry's leading consulting companies in the technical services field.
