Washington, DC - JDA Aviation Technology Solutions, a leading provider of aviation safety, operations and technical services, is pleased to announce three new members to its staff, Al Zito, Sharon Grey and Dustin Wilcox.
Zito has been named Vice President, Safety, Certification and Compliance, responsible for directing JDA's Safety, Certification and Compliance line of business. He has 26 years experience with the FAA in numerous technical and management positions, including Manager of the Pittsburgh Certificate Management Office where he was instrumental in establishing the Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Maintenance Resource Management (MRM) programs with USAirways, and overseeing USAir's acquisition of Piedmont. Zito had been a JDA Associate for the past 2 years leading certification, safety and maintenance projects.
Grey has been named Vice President of Quality Assurance and Engineering, responsible for managing safety assessments, quality audits and product certification projects as part of the JDA Safety, Certification and Compliance business unit. Grey comes to JDA with over 15 year's airline experience as a Quality Assurance auditor and manager and director in Internal Evaluation Programs, Regulatory Compliance, Aircraft Records and Engineering Services with both America West and USAirways.
Wilcox has been named Director of Safety Programs and will be instrumental in the implementation of JDA's Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Virtual Safety Office (VSO) products. He holds a Master of Science in Aviation Management and Safety from Purdue University and has worked with IBM's Flight Operations Group and BSNF Railway in various safety positions. Wilcox had been a JDA Associate for the past 2 years supporting safety and maintenance projects.
